THE REMEDY AT

FÄRMESÉ COCKTAIL LOUNGE

This is the Holy Grail of holiday cocktails

This is the Holy Grail of holiday cocktails.

Made with top-shelf Clase Azul Mexican tequila and wildflower honey infused with black truffles, The Remedy is a glass of refined indulgence, with a taste of oaky truffle honey candy and a hint of burnt orange and buttered molasses.

If you have something to toast this holiday season, this is what you do it with.

This special cocktail serves two and is served in a stunning hand-blown glass decanter from Japan with two matching cocktail glasses. At $150, it’s meant to be sipped with the most beloved of loves, or the dearest of dear friends.

“We wanted to have something on the menu that lets people celebrate a bit extra this holiday season,” says Färmesé co-owner Layla Neuroth, a master bartender with decades of experience. “We wanted to remind everyone what indulgence feels like. Life can get crazy—we deserve to spoil ourselves from time to time.”

The Remedy is part of the seasonal menu of signature cocktails—offered through December— at Färmesé in downtown Asheville. Having opened in early 2025, Färmesé has quickly gained a reputation for cutting-edge mixology techniques and earthy chic vibes.

Owners Justin and Layla Neuroth follow a simple “farm-to-glass” mission: They want to treat cocktails with the same culinary precision as food.

While the lounge offers all of your standard cocktails, like Manhattans and Mai Tais, the “specialty” side of the menu gets real creative. The drinks are defined and named by the technique or the ingredient with which they’re created. Among the options, for example, are a “Smoked,” an “Infused,” and a “Barrel Aged” drink.

The Remedy rules the house with a combination of all techniques. The coveted Clase Azul Tequila Reposado, which is aged eight months in American whiskey casks, is mixed with the truffle-infused honey, a duck-fat-washed Bauchant orange liqueur and acid-reduced lime juice. It’s topped with an emulsified foam and garnished with organic raw honeycomb.

In a word, The Remedy is a celebration. Which is something we all deserve this holiday season.
